I really hoped and prayed 2012 would be amazing, but instead it's been nothing but sadness, and exhaustion. The year started off well with both Mike and I continuing in a our new job, which we both really are enjoying. However, it was then followed by a ton of sadness.

Happy New Year - now onto 2012 -
I went to my sales meeting in Charleston, South Carolina the first few days of the year. It's tough being away from home now b/c Miranda is older and knows when i'm not there. I was happy to be home and back with my family when it was over. We heard some sad news that caused much happiness and John & Jess got married, earlier then expected, but what a beautiful day it was!! We were all so excited for those two love birds!! :-)
The week after was very rough...our good friend lost his mother very suddenly and without warning. She just had one of the best years of her life, and got to see her children all have children. She was a very dear woman, and will be missed everyday.
The same say we found out about one friend, our other friend, my best friend, found out her mom was in liver failure...Celine enjoyed every moment she could towards the end, baking Flan, having her mom record a Christmas book, and took pictures that will be cherished always.
While the sadness was happening, we tried to focus on some good, and Valentine's day was very nice. Mike surprised me at work with a beautiful and extremely colorful bouquet of flowers -
Miranda got to play with Brandon on a recent visit up north -
Then it was time to say goodbye to a woman I grew up with and will miss dearly - Minerva 'Ziggy' Bauer, passed away surrounded by family last week, 2/21/12. She is missed so much already -

Ziggy fought a long battle, and was taken way to young. Her memory will live on in all of us forever.
Well, there you have it, the longest post I ever wrote b/c of sooo many updates. I really hope 2012 turns around and perks itself up b/c for a year that was to start off great, has just been filled with to many tears and sadness. We need to live each day to it's fullest and tell everyone how much we love them, always.
Until next time! :-)
