As part f Miranda's birthday gift, Aunt Monica took Miranda, Marissa and I to a pottery place where Miranda was able to paint her own piece of pottery. Of course, Miranda choose a cupcake!! She had so much fun painting! It was really cool to watch her choose certain colors too. Very nice day :-)

Miranda's 1st Train Ride - NJ Transit Style!

So during the high holidays, Mike had to start school! Crazy timing, but we figured, rather then him driving home, Miranda and i would head to him after services. And that's exactly what we did! To get to Mike, we had to take NJ Transit, so this meant Miranda's very 1st train ride!!!! (aside from fun play trains). She LOVED it!!! Everything about it from getting our tickets from the "ticket man" to waiting upstairs and watching the other trains fly by, to sitting in her own seat and looking out the window! It was so much fun to ride the train with her!!!

High Holidays 2013

This year, the High Holidays started very early!!! In fact, before labor day!! Its a very odd year, as we all know, but having the holidays so early was just strange! Anyway, we still made the best of it! Miranda joined me at synagogue for Erev Rosh Hashanah and she was GREAT during the service!! She came again for Breakfast for Yom Kippur. That was very exciting b/c she was able to go up onto the Bima with the other kids, hear the shofar blow and sing and clap on what she called "the stage"...lol :-) It was a pure mitzvah and blessing to see my baby girl up there! the rabbi introduced herself and it was just magical...I know that's corny, but trust me, it was magical... :-)

Erev Rosh Hashahah - I picked Miranda up from school and off to Aunt Monica and Uncle Artie's house for dinner before services. Miranda was sooo excited to wear her pretty dress and jewelry :-)

Playing Piano :-)

One of my favorite pictures. Miranda and I rght after services outside the temple. Miranda was BEYOND good tonight and it almost brought tears to my eyes. Very proud mommy moment :-)

Night 1 - Dinner after services - Mike and I hosted!
