Memorial Day Weekend :-)

What a fun weekend! I LOVE spending time with my loves, and this weekend I got to do just that!

We started off by playing at the park. Miranda love the park so she can go down the 'sfing'(swing) and go 'weee' on the 'side' (slide) :-) Miranda also got to play in the sand pit they have at our local park too. She had snack with daddy and we had a great afternoon.

Miranda insists on sitting on this big swing - It looks like  a seat from Scream Machine from Great Adventure!

The next day, our little model walked around in a cute little outfit, but it did not last long :-)

Time for Junglerrific!! Miranda's Party will be here too. She loves it here :-)

On the actual day of Memorial Day we did something we never have done and went to Pt. Pleasant! Yes, we looked for a parking spot for over an hour! Miranda slept most of the time, but when she woke up, she kept saying "fishes" :-) She was so excited to see the 'fishes' all weekend, so nothing would stop us even waiting an hour for a parking spot! We went to Jenkison's Aquarium, went on rides, and had a WONDERFUL DAY!

Music? Why Yes Please!

Miranda LOVES music...any and all kinds, but ESPECIALLY her Toddler tunes....and let me tell you, if a parent doesnt find themselves rockin out to Popcorn pop, well then i think something is wrong! Haha! A few of Miranda's fav's now are:

• Wheels on the Bus
• ABC's
• Happy & you Know It (especially the 'horray' part!)
• Itsy Bitsy Spider
• Pop Corn Pop
• This Old Man

and there are others too. in fact, on Saturday, we were hanging out in her room, so i put toddler tunes on my Pandora on my phone, and blasted it. We were dancing, jumping, and basically wiggling our waggles away! (yes, thats a song too!)

She's been dancing since the whomb so its pretty cool that she's still into grooving now! I cant wait for dance classes!! :-)

Mother's Day - 2012

And what a beautiful day to celebrate!

I woke up Mother's Day morning and was told to go back to sleep! How can it get better!? (Haha...I kid, I kid..) :-)
When I woke up, Miranda gave me a huge hug, followed by a very awesome present! Mike and Miranda worked together on adding her hand prints to a flower pot with lily's in it!! Her hand prints are on both the in and outside of this pot, and it's so cool! On the front is a picture of Miranda too laminated as to not get wet! It was so creative and thoughtful, and I simply love it!



I also received two of the most beautiful cards!

When I was opening Mike's card I got teary eyed b/c he is just so thoughtful and his words meant so much. But then he told me to read the other side....Ummm, yea, we are going to see MADONNA!!!! (maybe you've heard of her!?!?!?) Madonna at Yankee Stadium this fall and I can't even handle it!!!!! I'm so shocked and excited and without words for how thoughtful my husband is!

After we calmed down, Mike made us breakfast (french toast with extra cinnamon...yumm!) and Miranda and I hung out watching her toons :-)

Once we ate and napped, we were all set to head over to my in-laws and meet up with Mike's family and my mom :-) We had such a lovely time.

Of course I took some pix before we left too :-)

We barbecued and had a lovely dinner outside :-)
