Wow, Time Flies....

Man. I was doing so good on updating this blog, and then holidays, sales meetings, day to day life and bam! Just no time. I really do want to keep this blog going though as I feel its amazing to see how much Miranda has grown. Especially now. Time is just flying....last time I posted, Miranda was in diapers...guess what, she now is out of pull ups and in BIG GIRL UNDERWEAR!!! Don't get me wrong, we still have her in pull ups when need be, but she's doing so great with potty training!

OK, so here is a shortened run down of whats occurred since November 2012 thru March 2013! Here we go!

Miranda's Big Girl Bed!!

Miranda Rose says it but now she live it - 'Im not a Baby, I'm A KID!" :-) And now she has her big girl bed to prove it!!
We were holding off the on the big girl bed for the sole fact that she never tried to climb out of the crib. She was safe and sound (& so were we!). But she is doing so well in her potty training (in fact id say she's 95% there) that we really needed to change the bed for her comfort sake of needing to use the potty at all times. So, we took off the crib rail, added the side rail, and bam! Instant big girl bed!

And you can see for yourself, our big girl, LOVES her big girl bed!!! ;-)

Our little girl is growing up! :-)

Purim Carnival!

Last year my mom and I took Miranda to a Purim carnival, but she was to young to really enjoy it. This year she had a blast! From bounce hosues, to face painting, and even a Choo-Choo train!! Mom and I had fun too, but note to self, leave the coat in the car next time! It gets hot in there! :-)

Miranda dressed up as a lady bug :-) After we went for coffee for us mommys and cupcakes for the little one. It  was a really great day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

For Valentine's day this year, i wanted to involve Miranda in helping bring in something special for her friends at school. So, with a little help from Pinterest, what did we do?
WE MADE CRAYONS!!

I know, your asking, how'd you do that? Well next time, when you get down to those tiny bits on crayons, and want to toss them, don't! You can melt them together into a new shaped crayon :-) I got a Heart cake pan and Miranda placed the broken (peeled) crayons where she wanted. We placed them in the over, and 10 minutes later - voila! Instant crayons! :-) We added them to Elmo valentines cards with a few pieces of candy. It was a success!

Snow Day!

Crazy weather we've been having! One day it's 70, the next we have 14 inches of snow! Even crazier is the town next to us got 3 inches!! So yea...Umm...not sure what mother nature is up to but she is definitely being silly with the weather!

That being said, we took our huge snow storm and decided to have a blast!! Last year we bought Miranda a sled. It never snowed! So it still had the tags on it. This year, Miranda fits in it perfectly, and we took her out in it for good ole winter fun! :-)

Celebrating 10yrs Cancer Free!

My wonderful mother in law celebrated a huge milestone on January 3rd - 10yrs cancer free! 10 yrs ago she was diagnosed with uterine cancer, and after surgery and recovery, 10yrs later, she's doing great! We celebrated her with a surprise party, as we wanted to dedicate an evening to her since she does so much for others. And from this video, I bet you can tell she was really, REALLY, surprised! :-)
