This Road Called Life: Sweet Pea, Peanut Rose, Boo Bear

You read it correctly! A whole year has past since the most amazing blessing entered our world! I can't even believe it's been a year! How could a year have gone by so quickly?
In a year, this little miracle learned to do EVERYTHING! Roll, crawl, walk, eat, speak, dance, smile, laugh, and so much more!!! She is the light in all our eyes, and there are no other words to describe the love we have for this little girl, Miranda Rose!!

Food - Miranda still gets her bottle, but we are weaning off. She eats 3rd foods, along with pancakes, chicken, and pretty much anything we can break small. She LOVES sweet potatoes and eats them by herself. She also loves pasta and bananas! We are doing allergy testing next year, so hopefully she will be able to have milk, eggs, and more in the next few weeks (she currently has allergy and we are hoping she grows out of it and say goodbye to allementum!) :-)

She is nearly running! She walks so fast & tries to run away from us when we chase her, but she usually falls from going so fast.

For Miranda's gift, Mommy & Daddy gave her a Pottery Barn Kids chair with Alpha Books from Baby Einstein (the best books ever!) -

We also gave her her first bouquet of flowers :-)

We went out to Perkins with Nana & Papa before Hurricane Irene came through and they even sang 'Happy Birthday' to Miranda :-) She got a candle in a muffin!

Although I knew she probably wouldn't eat it, I still wanted to make a cake for Miss Miranda, so bake I did! She ate a teeny tiny bite, but that's about it...She's a lady and did not want to get dirty...Haha! :-)

It's been an amazing year watching her grow from this tiny baby, into this little girl with so much love, life, and excitement!! I can't wait to see her continue to learn new things, start school, join dance class, play soccer, go to college, get married...ok, pass the tissues, I can't even right now...
