1st Trimester Screening - It was a great appt! :-)

Talk about nerves!! I was very nervous for this appointment, as I referred to it as my 'scary appt.' They look for so many things that when you hear about them, really scare a person. Thankfully, all the numbers came back normal!!! The docs feels my age, weight, and good health are all good signs of everything being OK. The technician took measurements by doing a sonogram of the thickness of the neck, brain size, looking for arms and legs, and more. They received the results before the consultation. The doctor was very nice and explained things in a clear manor, so I felt better hearing about each test they ran, along with knowing all was OK with Baby K. Baby K's heart beat was 161 beats per minute! It was so clear on the screen, and so was the rest of our baby! You can clearly see a head, face, body, even the spine! The baby kept sucking on it's thumb!! It was sooooo cute!!!! Here is a picture of Baby Kucyk at 11 weeks and 6 days:
